Calculation principles


 The calculations are based on the Recommendations of the Committee of Construction Pits EAB ( 5th edition, 2012). Calculations assume rectangular soil pressure profiles according to EB 70, as a continuous rectangle with support towards the top, or as stepped rectangles with support towards the bottom.
 Previous construction states have been disregarded.
 Indication: The earth pressure profiles for supported sheet pilings according to EB 70 should be used only for medium dense non-cohesive soils. For loose soils <32.5 , the use of better suited loading profiles is recommended.
